Sushi a nice Japanese cuisine has never been so addictive on a mobile phone. Chop Sushi! is a fun & crazy puzzler that will tickle your funny bone. The game’s protagonist is an ultimate chef in search for recipes that can chase away everyone’s personal demons. The story in Chop Sushi! was rather interesting for a puzzle based game. As for the gameplay itself, it wasn’t all so unique but just some improvement over the 3 or more matching games.

The game plays on a 7×7 grid sushi board. The board were packed with various yummy sushi and your objective is to match 3 or more of the same to clear it from the board. There is a little different from the usual matching game, you use a pair of chopstick to pick up the sushi and move them to the edge of a row or column. Every time you move, those line shuffle and fill up the empty space. That also mean that it’s impossible to match more than one groups in a turn. Although it might sound rather boring as there’s hundreds or maybe thousands more of the similar clones out there, the gameplay of Chop Sushi! may not sound so appealing to those who are familiar or tired of the same games. But I’ve to say Chop Sushi! is somewhat difference, it’s so beautifully structured and paced that certainly makes it unique and fun to play at the same time.

Instead of the usual points based, in Chop Sushi! your job is to whittle down your opponent’s. To eat away your opponent’s score, you have to match the green wasabi sushi. If you follows the recipes which the game sets you to clear, it can really turns the tide in tougher battle and maybe give you an extra go or two. With an opponent’s trying to wrack you away, it makes the game more challenging and exciting.

Even if you’ve had fair share of matching puzzlers, Chop Sushi! is one tasty game that worth your money. If you are looking for something fresh in the matching genre mobile games, then look no furthers, Chop Sushi! is the best in my recent memories.
