From the screenshot picture you can easily see that the graphics show its age comparing to the newer generation mobile games. Despite of the aging graphics, Pizza Magnate a tycoon type of simulation is still as addicting in todays phone. Mobile gaming is not about graphics, it is about the addictiveness and simpleness of the game play, although you might not agree with me as I personally prefer simple games on my mobile phone. More on the casual, leisure side.

There is quite a lot of simulation games released over the years, some popular one includes sim series, diner dash, fish tycoon …etc. Pizza Magnate when it first released in 2005 before others same genre games, it was one of the deepest and most interesting simulation mobile game at that time, and it is still considered one of the deepest and unique tycoon game today’s. If you have played Diner Dash before either the online flash version, Yahoo version or the mobile version, you pretty much know about the basic game play and objective of the game. In Pizza Magnate, you have to rake in as much cash as possible and drive your competitors out of business. But running business is not as simple as you thought, you are in charge of hiring staff, purchasing new pizza recipes, advertising, coordinate with your suppliers and open retail chain in order dominate the pizza business in town.

There are a lot of option within the game that show how deep Pizza Magnate is. Each staff you decide to hire is separated into 2 aspects such as skill and speed level. What I have just mentioned just scratches the surface of the game, there are many different types of employees each specialist in their own field. You need to hire all of them to keep your business running and make sure you have enough cash to pay their salaries by the end each months. You connot run business without the help of these peoples. Beside getting enough people helping in the shop, you nned to advertise and upgrades your facilities in order to attract potential customers and maintain competitiveness. It might sound a little complicated here, but nothing go to complicated or difficult. The game is in real time, you will see your customer moving in and out of your pizza outlet constantly. The game interface may be overwhelmingly confused when you first play it, I would recommend you to read the in game help section before starting the game. If you are already an expert in this type of tycoon games, then you would find yourself immersed into the heaven of your pizza business empire immediately. Another downside beside the graphics is the sound and music in game. It is almost non-existent, all you would hear is the occassionary beeps from your phone speakers.
