What? Nokia developing Netbook?
We all know that Netbook are selling like hotcakes, but what’s all the fuss about Netbook. Isn’t it just a smaller notebook with a 10 inch screen? Yes you are basically right. But today’s netbook can be as powerful as a notebook with a built-in hard drives instead of using flash memory in the past. Netbook is small and light, it can be easily carried around and most importantly it last more than 7 hours in a single charge. Some might think that wouldn’t a cell phone could do the same thing, you may be right, but different people using for different purpose. Cell phone may be good enough to check your facebook and email, but for those who are traveling doing business, they might need some extra software.
There must be a reason why Netbook are selling good. With over 16 million Netbook sold just in North America, it’s not surprise that Nokia are tempting to enter the market for some profit. Although I’d prefer Nokia just focus on developing better phones instead of making the same Netbook just like those in the market. It’s already an overcrowded market unless Nokia can come out with some innovative ideas.
Would you ever sees a Netbook with Nokia name on it. Time will tell..
